Career Path
We are excited to announce the release of NASA's new Science Career Path Tool. This online interactive tool features five distinct science career tracks and summarizes the common roles across NASA's science workforce, to include its laboratory partners at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory. It also depicts potential paths scientists can consider throughout their career. NASA scientists, managers, students, and prospective employees use this site to raise awareness of career opportunities, help plan and navigate careers, and determine training and development needs to better prepare scientists for roles of increasing responsibility. Other benefits include bringing positive impact on employee morale, helping to improve retention, and assisting the agency in its recruitment efforts. View application >>
